Hi! My name is Mariana, but you can call me Mia. I'm 28 years-old, from Portugal.

During my upbringing I've had all sorts of pets, such as dogs, cats, rodents, birds and fish. Because of that, I know very well how heartwarming and challenging owning a pet can be!

Back in Portugal I was a trainee lawyer and I volunteered at the local animal shelter, so I am very organized and attentive. I'm sensitive, responsible and I strive to create a special relationship with the animals that I care for. All pets, with diverse personality traits (including reactive dogs) are welcome, and usually feel comfortable with me from the first interaction. As I am not professionally trained, as a pet-sitter I act with prudence, responsability and love.

It will be a pleasure to walk your pet and/or take care of it in either my house or in yours!

I'm living in Arnhem and my house has enough space to host your pet during the day or for a few days if you're going away. The ambient in my house is very cozy, so your pet will stay protected and will receive all the attention and care that it deserves. Currently, in my house I have a guinea pig (Giorgio) and a cat (Burguesa), but they are very calm and trained to accept other animals. My pets have their own bedroom!

Your pet will have a bedroom just for itself, but it may also hang out with me and my boyfriend in the living room. We have cameras in the house, so when we need to go out we always can check in on the pets. That way your pet will be cared for and protected all the time.

During your pet's stay I can send pictures and videos that I think will bring a smile to you.

Regarding the dog walking service and pet sitting in your own house, I am flexible to commute, so I can also provide these services in the surrouding areas of Arnhem, such as Nijmegen, Ede, Elst, Huissen (and other cities). I'll also be happy to help out with errands such as receiving mail, shopping, watering plants, ventilating the house.
