Hi! I am Marlot (28), Dutch. I live in Oostenburg, Amsterdam, 5 minutes away from Oosterpark and very close to Artis. I have an endless love for animals and would love to take care of your pet.
What I offer:
Daycare / Night stay – leave your pet at my house where he or she can enjoy constant supervision, treats, walks, and care. My home allows for taking care of a maximum of one pet.
I am especially available in structural dogsitting (for example fixed days per week or recurring periods), so your dog can feel comfortable and familiar with the same caregiver.
Good to know:
My top priority is your pet’s safety, so please let me know in your request if there are any specific things I should be vigilant about! I am aware that each doggo is different and has different needs, so I'd like to be prepared and make sure your pet feels comfortable during his/her stay with me!
My home:
I live alone in a small-sized apartment (36 m²) in Oostenburg, which is a very quiet neighborhood with lots of parks in close proximity The apartment building has an elevator, which is conventient for your pet!
I have a 9–5 office job, but I'm also quite flexible to work from home. On thursdays and Tuesday, I dont have to work. If your pet doesn’t like being left alone during the day, let me know and I'll arrange my working days accordingly!
Experience
I have been around a lot of animals ever since I was a little girl, as my parents lived in the countryside, with cats and horses.
In my twenties, I had a Labrador who filled my days with lots of playtime, long walks, and endless affection. I also took care of an energetic Australian dog for a full year, which taught me a lot about handling high-energy breeds and keeping them both mentally and physically stimulated.
My endless love for animals and natural understanding of how to communicate and act around them will ensure that your pet is well taken care of and filled with happiness.
